A free guide from Beverley Ward: writer, facilitator and coach.
In my workshops, I sometimes set a writing exercise in which I ask writers to come up with a one-word story or book. The trick, I tell them, is to give the piece a long title to set the context - a sort of set-up / punchline structure.
When doing this exercise, one of the books I have imagined creating is a writing handbook with this title: How to be a writer.
