Writing about grief

On mindfulness meditation and raisins.jpg

I’ve not been updating my website much recently because my partner died in March, just three months after the death of my mum. I thought I knew a lot about grief but this grief has been on a scale unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I’m writing about it because writing is the thing I hold onto in the darkness. I’m sharing my writing about grief  with a group from Refuge in Grief which is run by a writer, therapist and widow, called Megan Devine and also sharing it on a separate blog here: http://griefwriting.blogspot.co.uk

In the meantime, I am still working on various writing projects and running my regular writing groups. I also have plans for a new Sheffield-based writing organisation emerging.

Watch this space.
