Our experienced practitioners Fiona Watson (Mindfulness) and Beverley Ward (Writer and Creative Coach) will take you on a journey of mindfulness, writing and walking in the beautiful Longshaw Estate
We invite you to a fabulous day out at the stunning Longshaw estate where we will teach you the joy of mindfulness practice and creative writing submerged in nature!
What happens on the day
Reconnect with YOU and find peace and stillness with our day of writing and mindfulness where we will spend time in nature nurturing your physical and mental wellbeing. This unique retreat takes place in the spectacular Peak District surroundings, providing you with the opportunity to step off the treadmill of daily life and be fully present. You will return home feeling relaxed, renewed and inspired, with a toolkit to take away with you!
Whether you’re interested in writing and mindfulness or you’re in need of some time out, this day is for you.
How will it benefit me?
Through a range of meditation practices, writing exercises and discussion, the day will offer a gentle introduction to both writing and mindfulness and the way in which the two activities can complement each other. Being outside immersed in nature, you will fully experience the beauty of your surroundings through mindful walking and creative writing.
Is this right for me?
No experience of either writing or meditation is necessary in order to take part. All that you need is a spirit of curiosity, a pair of stout walking shoes, pen and paper and a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and inspiration are provided!
