Pitching notes
Thanks to funding from Off the Shelf, I was able to run a workshop on pitching to agents as part of the festival this year.
Over thirty people turned up and the feedback from the event has been very positive. Many of the participants then went on to pitch their novels at the Novel Slam which was held at DINA on Thursday 18th October. Congratulations to Ollie Francis who won first place and to the worthy runners-up: Robert Brougham, Stephen Mellor, Ruth Millington and Lucie Jolley.
